Blog Time

Well it's all happening here at the moment, I am getting way behind in the blog department (well about the shop that is, hopefully you enjoyed the one about Japan from yesterday).

Stu Pagdin started with us last week, so yay for that! He is getting busy, so hit him up if you want to get tattooed. His done up some sweet flash that he would like to tattoo, so if you like any of those hit him up. Just email the shop progressiontattoo@hotmail.com or give us a call to make a consult time with him.

So if you are interested in getting an appointment with Alvaro next time he is here, call the shop to arrange a consultation time with him for this week.

Japan In June

Better late then never they say, eh? We have been back from Japan for over a week already and I haven't even blogged about it yet!! But we have been super busy to say the least, I only unpacked a few days ago!

We had an epic time, as per usual, as if I was going to say anything different? But we have realised a week is just not long enough time to spend in such an awesome place such as Japan. We did however get some quality time in with friends and jam packed our week full of fun things and of course lots of tattooing!

Our first day we did our usual routine, of wondering around Yokohama and going to our favorite restaurant "Dalian" for lunch. Dinner was spent with the Yellow Blazers and our good mates Tomo and Ei. We had Brazillian food, which I might add I have never had before and loved it! Good thing we are not vegetarian anymore or we would have had nothing to eat! haha but was so yum, i'll be going there again that's for sure!

The following day we spent with Ei, Tomo and our good mate Crystal. We did a bunch of fun stuff, which included Kyosai Museum, watching Rockabillies dance in Harajuku, patting puppies and meerkats in the park, shopping, Ninja restaurant for dinner and topped off with some Karaoke! Perfect day in Tokyo! Here is some pics:

And I thought Matt was too tall for Japan, seems Ei has the same problem- haha
Rockabillies in Harajuku, so cool!
EEEEEEEEP! Puppies!!
Yep, found a meerkat to play with!
Ice-cream stop
Matt the Ninja!
I love karaoke- can you tell?
And we spent 4 glorious days at this place.
2 days later I look like this.
1 day later and I feel pretty damn good! I have the baggy pants on though
My little walks to China town
My fave store for buying stuff
2 days later Matt looks like this....
Last day in Yokohama, was such a beautiful day.
What?
Yokohama!
So we go back in December, which is just far too long a wait! Of course there is much more that went on but this is all I have time for right now.

That's all....

Blog Time!

Well kids it's blog time again and I don't think there is much to report really, so I am going to be lazy and download a crap load of pics instead.

Alvaro is now booked out for his visit but remember if you want a consultation for getting some work done when he returns (in the near future), he is happy to do that. Shoot me an email if you are keen.

Wendy Pham and Matthew Gordon are pretty much booked when they are here also but they are hopefully returning soon, so shoot an email anyway and we can see what they can do for you on their next visit.

And lastly just wanna plug our mate Stu Pagdin again! Starting with us on July 3rd! If you want a sweet traditional tattie from this legend, get on it! Taking bookings now. Check out his portfolio on this blog and also on our facebook.

Matt and I are in Japan this Friday and back to work 3rd of July, so if you could wait till we return for any Matt related enquiries. We will be contactable via email if it is urgent. Also this means the phone will not be answered much while we are gone, you will need to leave a message and either Jamie or Simone will return your call promptly.

And here is what Matty has been up to this past week or so, all in progress stuff:

May to June, Twenty twelve.

Thanks for visiting my weblog.  This is a bit of a longer post than usual, all i can say is thank you so much to all my great clients.  It's rolls of film like this that make me feel lucky to be where I am already in tattooing.  Enjoy.

Swallows, any way I wanted.

This was a fixer-upper, but I'm actually really satisfied with the results.   The linework was not done by me.

Another really fun one.

I don't go crazy tattooing hands and necks all day, but on this roll I went there a bit.

I'd love to do more work like this.

A trim little boat.

Come cogs and chainrings on a great client of mine.

It's been a while since I did one of these..

A fifth hand, again, I'd love to get more work like this coming through.

After Kelsey's fifth hand we whipped up this little coffee cup.  I've been waiting for the right opportunity to bust these birds out for a while.

 A doe, a deer...

Another great client.   Ian came in for this snake skeleton.

I got this healed photo of his drum.

A crow for Scott.  I also put the black band on his wrist.

Thanks for looking,
Bram
